Portec introduced the new return wheel design on all equipment produced after July 15, 2011. The assembly now utilizes a return wheel with a glass-reinforced nylon sleeve and khaki urethane wheel. When any maintenance or replacement has been done to the return wheels, verify that both set screws have been torqued to the proper specifications for safe operation. Return Wheel AssemblyScrew Torque Specification Set Screws 11 in/lbs Set Screws 1.24 N-m Loctite® is not recommended for return wheel set screws.
